Kimberley is only 26 and is Holmes Chapel born and bred. She grew up in the food trade - the family business MG Williams & Sons has been going for over a century! She worked with Marcus during a spell in the financial services industry at Gadbrook Park but like him took advantage of her employer's decision to outsource to get back into the business of great food! She has been working hard with Marcus to create "The Terrace" and is looking forward to making an impact with this new venture.
Kimberley also has a talent for producing hand-made jewellery and she is looking forward to showing off the results in the shop - she also offers a made-to-order service.
In her spare time, she is a big film buff, and she also has a keen interest in spirituality. She also enjoys a wide range of music, and even has time to spend with her friends and her fiance Lee.
Marcus was born a long long time ago in the former London Borough of Barnet. All his family on his father's side are from Lancashire, and Scotland - but his Dad had moved south to work as a nurse in the mid-sixties, and married his mum shortly afterwards! The family have a long-standing affinity with kitchens: his grand-dad was a baker in Pritchard Street, Blackburn, and all three of his uncles have been involved in the catering trade at some point in their lives.
Marcus moved to Cheshire 14 years ago and worked at Gadbrook Park up until early this year: when a round of outsourcing gave him the chance to begin his first business venture. The Terrace is a great opportunity for him to promote the very best in local food and he is looking forward to becoming part of the scenery in Davenham!
In his spare time, Marcus enjoys running and racing for Vale Royal AC on the roads, fells and cross-country. He has enjoyed hill-walking ever since he was a teenager and regularly travels abroad to enjoy mountaineering in Europe - incuding recent trips to the Spanish Pyrenees, the Swiss and Italian Alps and Slovenia. He is also a music-lover and is often to be found in the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool! He is married to Paula and lives in Winsford with two small dogs, Dizzy and Tugger.
